The Swedish broadcaster Sveriges Radio approached me to create episode art for their podcast series Bovar och brott (‘Crimes and Criminals’) on Barnradion. The program is aimed at children aged 9-13 and features the most spectacular crimes and thugs from around the world.

I created 5 episode artworks for the second season of the program, which aired Nov-Dec 2022.

1. Bonnie and Clyde

Together with their gang, Bonnie and Clyde conned and robbed everything and everyone that got in their way in the 1930’s United States, until they met their tragic end.

2. Art theft at Moderna Museet

In 1993 two men stole priceless art worth several hundred million Swedish crowns from Moderna Museet (‘Museum of Modern Art’) in Stockholm through a hole in the ceiling while a third kept watch. The heist remains to this day an unsolved case

3. The Drama at Norrmalmstorg

During a few intense days in 1973, a robber held four people hostage inside a bank in central Stockholm. The famous “Stockholm syndrome” refers to this incident.

4. The Kidnappning of Charles Lindbergh Jr

On March 1, 1932, someone abducted the 20-month-old son of aviators Charles Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh from his crib in the upper floor of the Lindberghs’ home in New Jersey, United States. The boy’s lifeless body was discovered on May 12 by the side of a nearby road.

5. The theft of the Mona Lisa

In 1911, Italian musum worker and artist Vincenzo Peruggia stole the famous Mona Lisa from the Louvre in Paris. He managed to smuggle it to Florece, Italy, before getting caught and the painting was returned.
